Last summer holiday i went to Beijing with my parents for a trip. It was a very hot summer as i remembered. We all know that Beijing is the capital of our motherland, and it's our first time to be there. My friends used to tell me a lot of historical interests there, therefore, i was eager to visit Beijing by myself. On 7th Jul. 2010, we went to Beijing by plane from XX Airport, and arrived in Beijing two hours later. What impressed me most there are the places of historic interest and scenic beauty: the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Imperial Palace, The Temple of Heaven, Tian An Men, etc. On the Great Wall there were many foreign tourists as well as national visitors, and we took a lot of photos. However, the weather of Beijing was not very good, especially the quality of air. We could smell a sense of haze in the air, and when a blow of wind came there cam up a lot of sand. All in all, Beijing is a wonderful place which deserves our travel. Next holiday I planned to go to ChengDu of SiChuan Province for the delicious food there.
